Testing That Meets Global Standards
Among the wide range of tests offered, some of the most rigorous are the “high-stakes” certification exams often required for accountants, medical professionals and other licensed experts. These exams are scheduled and administered through the Testing Center’s Prometric Lab, a facility that adheres to international testing standards.
Prometric, a global leader in secure testing services, operates in more than 180 countries with over 8,000 centers worldwide. The organization’s standards for integrity, confidentiality and operational excellence are among the most demanding in the industry.
At SJC each Testing Center proctor undergoes specialized training, maintains certifications and follows precise procedures to ensure both fairness and accuracy.
Award-Winning Commitment to Quality
In the last fiscal year alone, SJC proctors administered 7,293 exams, with nearly 900 Prometric tests among them. That extraordinary level of service has not gone unnoticed.
Each quarter, Prometric honors top-performing centers around the world with its Inspired Test Center Award, a distinction reserved for facilities that maintain exceptional performance metrics. To earn the award, a testing center must demonstrate:
- A 99% or higher successful testing rate,
- 95% or higher candidate satisfaction with staff and service, and
- Zero failed audits across all operations.
Over the past two years, San Juan College has achieved this elite recognition eight times. A remarkable accomplishment given that fewer than 40% of Prometric centers worldwide reach that standard.
