Why did you choose San Juan College?

"I knew San Juan College has a great Instrumentation and Electrical Technologies program/ Not only does the School of Energy have great instructors, it was also affordable. At the time I was working for Pepsi and felt I peaked at my position and wanted more. The times offered worked well with my schedule. Evening classes were awesome, and fun. I really enjoyed getting my education at San Juan College."

What did you do to prepare for your career?

"I am already studying past materials and looking over notes. I am in the space industry now. I never imagined working in the space industry. Instrumentation is utilized in a number of industries. I am focused on furthering my career."

What advice would you give to future graduates?

"I would say take it one day at a time. Keep studying hard, and push yourself part your limitations. You're never to old to start chasing your dreams. Communication with instructors is very important. Treat school like a full time job. Be professional and be punctual with a mindset ready to learn"

What was your fondest memory at San Juan College?

"My fondest memories were spending my evenings with great instructors who really cared about my success. We had many pizza parties and potlucks to celebrate our milestones. The School of Energy really went above and beyond for us. We received scholarships, tools and even gift cards that set us up for our future careers. I appreciate everyone at San Juan College."
